Hallelujah

I savor the flavor

Of dirt in my mouth

And break for the sake

Of a moment to sing

Of the story of Glory,

The one that won't end.

So I'll relish the jealous,

Dark moments of life

And embrace the traces

Of scars on my life.

For ashes are sashes

To tie up my gown.

And stones are the combs

That keep in place

my veil.
